"It was fine, house was cute but filled with Knick knacks which kind felt like staying at your grandmas house. Like look but don’t touch anything. Not sure what they meant by walk to old town, everything we did for food, etc was 8-10 minute drive. The streets have no street lights so walking anywhere at night was out. Worked as a base to visit redwoods np and tidal pools which is what we wanted"

Ramada Bayside Inn & Suites Eureka

Ramada Bayside Inn & Suites Eureka

8/10 Good
"Let me start by saying that what stood out was how clean the entire property is. The office, parking lot, fitness center, pool area, breakfast area and room were amazing! Staff was all nice, older property but well updated. My main disappointment was that the massage beds in the fitness room are just a tease. I had booked this place because I thought I would be able to get back massages for my sore back. I went in after check in and scanned the qr code which gives you a three minute massage. My daughter's glitched after 17 seconds I got the 3 minutes. That was it, no way to get a massage for the next 3 days. No way to pay extra."

"7 of us came up for a cousins 80th birthday, and we all stayed here at the Inn. I'm not going to lie, I was really nervous. I didnt read the reviews until after I booked our 6 day stay. I read there was cold showers, no ac, etc. We didnt experience any of these issues. Well, maybe a slow tub drain, that someone mentioned, but we didnt find that a big deal. After all, it is an old 1922 building. Anyway, we spent some time walking around all the floors, enjoying all the pictures of famous people who have stayed there, and reading the Inns history. The breakfast had a adequate selection, but the best part was the STARBUCKS Coffee. 😆 We would definitely stay here again."

"The room was clean and comfortable with good amenities. No coffee pot but I brought instant to heat in the microwave. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided. A small leak in the refrigerator made the floor wet several times. Room 215 at the top of the stairs was a bit noisy as people came back at night, but it was quiet for sleeping. Staff was nice and checking was fast. Actually, one of the best Motel 6 I’ve stayed at."

"Friendly front desk person. A housekeeper was also very nice. She stopped what she was doing to guide me to where our room was as it was a bit confusing from the rear parking lot.
