The breakfast & staff working there are amazing! Always fresh lemon infused ice water, a hot breakfast that leaves you fulfilled & ready to hike the redwoods. Usually we stay at the Hilton or Hyatt but Comfort inn was impressive where it mattered, cleanliness & amenities. If wanting to be close to the redwoods, this would be our repeat choice & highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Inn in Arcata. The room was well-designed and nicely lit. There was plenty of free parking and the hotel was close to the freeway and to lovely stretches of forested areas, but not so close that I was constantly aware of traffic. The bathroom was well appointed, and the towels didn't have that threadbare feel that some hotels have. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel served its purpose: overnight stay during our week long journey down the coast. The room was clean. The front desk and breakfast attendants absolutely did their jobs. They weren’t very personable. The breakfast was edible. The hotel itself smelled peculiar and was dated. It really wasn’t worth almost $200 for the night.
