"Most of the experience was decent, but the man working at the front desk when we were leaving was rude and unhelpful. I asked politely what time the airport shuttle comes next and he gave me a dirty look and said sarcastically that it comes every 15 minutes. We then waited for 20 minutes... One shuttle came but he seemed to be at the end of his shift, so he couldn't take us. We got to reception 20 minutes before we needed to leave, and ended up leaving 15 minutes late. It's stressful getting to the airport but being treated rudely for no reasonable "

"Convenient location. Lovely staff. Beautiful gardens surrounding the pool. Restaurant on site had good food with lots of variety. Spacious rooms. Comfy beds. "

"The views from the property were absolutely gorgeous. The staff seemed very eager to do whatever it took to make you happy. Unfortunately, the property is crumbling down around them and the staff are to be commended for doing their best in spite of the lack of property maintenance."

"Very relaxed place, slightly older crowd, people are here for peace and quiet. There is a private beach better than those over-rated beaches at Playa Coco and and Playa Hermosa. There is a good pool and pool bar. Howler monkeys move through the trees and you can see them every day. The staff of young people were wonderful and very attentive and accommodating. Sergio, Greddy, the young women at the reception were wonderful. The breakfasts were very good. The food was fine, but it also was fun to go and eat out in nearby Hermosa (5 minute drive by Uber). There is no animation here so it is not ideal for kids. This was fine with us. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable place. "

"It was enjoyable. We liked staying there. We just had a few issues with the electric - AC, and hot water. There wasn’t much of a nightlife. But other wise everything else was great and we had a lot of fun. "

There are very few activities to keep the visitors entertained so there's not much to do at the resort except hang around on the beach or at one of the pools. The food is uugenerally average. The buffet is the best of the options but the specialty restaurants are below average. The alcohol seemed to be of inferior quality and generally substandard. Some staff members were friendly but most did not acknowledge guests. I would not return to the resort and do not recommend it to anyone expecting memorable experience."

"The only concern I have about The Palms is the fact that the pool is difficult to get in and out of if you have mobility issues. An extra handrail in the shallow end would make it more helpful for people. "
