« The hotel offers large and comfortable rooms right on the shore of Lake Seneca, at a walking distance from downtown Geneva. There are very nice lake views and access to a beautiful lake promenade. HOWEVER, the lack of staff can be felt throughout the facilities. Our rooms (my party had 3 of them) were never serviced, even though we asked three times to have fresh towels and coffee-making supplies. We had to ask at the desk for towels and supplies, but the promised room service never...

« This property is very old and is showing its age. It is unique and convenient to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, museums. Parking is free. The air conditioner is a free standing unit which vents out the window. It is on a busy corner with loud traffic and a train. Bring your ear plugs. They no longer have a restaurant or breakfast. The elevator is very slow. If you do not expect much, it is fine. »

« Rating: 2.5–3 stars This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception...

« Owners were delightful - kind, hospitable,and helpful. Breakfasts were a treat each day (especially since I didn’t have to cook or clean up). And location was very convenient to Geneva, Auburn, Seneca Falls (great history!), and Watkins Glen. And, of course, lots of wineries. My room was big and bathroom huge. Slept 9-10 hours each night - much needed. Highly recommend for a weekend away. »
