The staff were amazing… Flights of wine tasting, and a delicious dinner at the bar after a long drive. Woke up and had coffee on the edge of the lake from 75 feet up. Beautiful property! The view of the lake and the landscaping is fantastic. The proximity to the town of Geneva is a major plus. The only criticism is that there is no lobby and area to gather. The check-in is located in a very small office. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and screens, the rug was badly soiled. ordered red roses for our 2nd wedding anniversary and was told their supplier ran out? so we got a mixed arrangement that was reduced $15.00 off from $65.00.. Had dinner reservations for 6:00pm on 6/24/2024, We were here for dinner 2 years ago and had a wonderful meal. The menu this time around was limited due to the fact many of the entree's were prepared beforehand with black pepper. My wife is allergic to all kinds of peppers. The restaurant opened at 5:00pm and we were told that they were out of the $60.00 Rib Eye steak, come on now! two years ago they had Bananas Foster on the menu prepared tableside. This was not the case this year, was told management changed the menu! On a trip that I was trying to impress my wife, nothing turned out right. That message didn’t get passed on unfortunately but the staff accompanied us by putting us in a “non-pet” room. The grounds are beautiful.
