« What an adorable cottage! Sure, the floors were not level….but the beds were great. The bathrooms had been updated. There was a terrific sunroom….and the property was gorgeous. We had two dog with us and they loved the space to run and catch a frisbee. The house was equipped with so many amenities. I would definitely visit again. We spent one day hiking at Grayson Highlands State Park in VA and another day we did an urban walk through West Jefferson, NC »

« I always worry about the cleanliness of rentals because I’m highly allergic to mold and dust. This cabin was clean and well maintained. The host was very communicative. She made sure we knew about the presence of a bear up the street. She also was very cool about my husband accidentally breaking a lid to a pan in the kitchen. I’d definitely stay here again! »

« Loved the house, very clean. Picture make it look closer to the water than actual is, we were a little bummed about that but all else was a great trip. Used River Girls for kayak rental first day, great place but 45 mins from house, only used them for the discount with renting this house. The next day we use New River Outfitters which is only 15 mins away, great experience with both rentals. Wish they had a table on the porch to do outdoor meals, but we made it work with ball chairs that we...

« This place had everything we were looking for in a mountain retreat stay. Clean and well appointed with comfortable bed, plenty of room, hot tub was excellent. The fact we could bring our dogs made it even better. Super secluded with the woods surrounding it. Check in and out was a breeze and the property management company was top notch.
