"First impression, Beautifully groomed yard! Bedrooms are small but beds are very comfortable. We spent most of our time outside. Wonderful large sand beach! Our 4 grandchildren 2,4,6 & 8 spent hours entertaining themselves from morning to night. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle-boarding and cooling of in the clean water lake. Our hosts James and Mary are wonderful hosts!"

"Great location halfway between the ski hill and town. Not much in the way of housekeeping so plan to just rent the room for a week. "Breakfast" was toast and jam one day. No cream another day. Buy Fernie was awesome."

"The listing itself is deceptive, because it does not tell you that it is in a hotel-- a very. filled up kid / dog friendly hotel. Staff were fine but the room itself was nasty. The place is in disrepair, stains and generally yuck in all the corners etc. walls are paper thin enough you can actually hear the bathroom activities of your neighbors....."

"The actual condo is quite nice and well appointed. But the building turns into a party building on the weekends and beer cans are thrown all over the hot tub area. There was a loud beer chugging party going on above our condo on Saturday afternoon. I think weekdays might be family friendly but weekends certainly are not. "Our large family of 8 adults and 6 children truly enjoyed our wonderful family reunion at the lake. We love the new path to the lake because it is perfect for our elderly grand parents and our young children. There is seating for all of us to eat at one time too enjoy telling stories. The lake house and the lake front property are exactly as described and we recommend this property for family reunions. Two of our children caught their first fish right off the dock here and they are still talking...
