« Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation. »

« The cottage was beautiful and true to the listing it was a short walk to the beach. We brought our two dogs with us, which was great to find a place that allowed pets. It was nice having a full kitchen, though I didn’t read prior to that there was no microwave. But that would be the only negative I have. I also am not sure if I just couldn’t figure out the pull out couch situation (not enough bed space with my wife and baby). I tried to see handles to pull out a bed but didn’t see any. It might...

« My husband and I were in town for a special birthday party and we stayed at this wonderful new house. The house was immaculate, and Colette was very accommodating for early arrival. We really appreciated the Quality linens, towels, and special touches throughout the house. Super proximity to the town of Delmar and the ocean. Everything was walkable.. « My husband took our 2 teen daughters to Lynn’s place this past week for 4 nights. It was spectacular! The views are incredible, and the sunsets were unbelievable. We sat several nights on the deck and just watched all the people walking and enjoying the coastline with their adorable dogs! The cottage is fully stocked and adorably decorated. The beds are SO comfortable! We will definitely be back, Encinitas is the coolest spot and a great place to see and visit the San Diego area! Thank you Lynn! »

« Sunsets were amazing. We enjoyed our stay. The little cottage met all our needs. Good thing I had a mini cooper that I could fit in the garage with a couple tries (though could have been my poor parking skills.) Wonderful location. Grocery and laundry within walking distance among many and varied restaurants. Enjoyed people watching and surfers. »

« La maison était parfaite. Ce n'est pas une maison moderne, mais elle est très propre, les salles de bains sont bien entretenues et la laveuse-sécheuse super pratique. La cuisine est bien équipée, ce qui nous a permis de cuisiner à tous les jours. La localisation est excellente près de la plage, l'hôte fournit des serviettes, des jouets de plage, des planches et des chaises. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. »

« This quiet, beautiful neiborhood is walking distance to Balboa Park, coffee shops, grocery, and Switzer Canyon (a must if you like to hike!) Easy drive to downtown, waterfront and museums. Cottage is well equipped and, as the title says, very charming. Sheets and towels super plush. A definite 5 star. »

« With the beach just foot steps away I knew I would love this place. The cottage was perfect for our stay. The sights and sounds of Mission Blvd were exactly as I imagined. Everything was in close proximity which made seeing the sights that much easier. I highly recommend Josh and April’s quaint cottage. I look forward to a return trip next year. »

« Overall, it was a fantastic stay at the Vista cottage. The cottage has ample space and is well outfitted for a lengthy stay. It is also located close to many north San Diego County attractions and was only 5 minutes from our son's place. It is minutes away from freeway access and shopping. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom had a full closet with plenty of space to hang clothes. The washer/dryer came in handy and there was plenty of towels/linens for your stay. All the appliances looked new...

« Great location, fantastic view, great for a weekend getaway. For a longer stay you will need some basics for cooking and your own towels. Parking is super tricky via the alley way but we would definitely return again. »

« We were surprised that there was no table inside to eat on. After we complained, one arrived which made our stay more comfortable. Sofa outside and inside not comfortable. Incomplete kitchen baking pans etc. BBQ not working. We loved the proximity to the dog beach. We were only 3 cottages from the beach. If you are planning on eating out most of the time, this is a good fit. »
