With 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, and a 1-car garage, it is ideal for families. \*\*\* see notes below description about minimum stay requirements. This lovely beach home has beautiful flooring, large windows and sliding glass doors, clean, comfortable furnishings, and an HD flat screen TV. Each room has a remote controlled heating / air conditioning unit so you can adjust temperature by room to your comfort. A large sliding glass door opens the family room to the front patio which has ocean views and upscale patio furniture. You can enjoy meals on the patio table and inside on a round dining table that seats 4 (or 6 using included table top expansion). Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, dishes, cookware, and flatware needed to prepare meals with your family. It also has a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed. The second bedroom sleeps 3 in bunk beds and a twin trundle bed. There is also a roll-away bed and pack-n-play (use your own sheets for pack-n-play) that can be used. The couch in the family room has a back that clicks down to make a bed that is just under full size (comfortable for one adult). The bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a bathtub/shower. There is a door to the side of the house from the bathroom where there is an additional outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after the beach. The cottage is stocked with clean, high quality linens, bath towels, beach towels, as well as a few beach chairs and sand toys. It also includes 2 beach cruiser bikes (bring your own helmets) and a barbecue (propane BBQ) on the front patio. Rental includes Roku TV, high-speed cable internet, WiFi, and one car garage parking. The single car garage is big enough for vehicles up to 189 inches in length (fits most compact and mid-size SUVs but not full-size SUVs). To check your vehicle length, search Google. Example search: length of 2021 Nissan Sentra. Google answer: 182.7" Side gates lock for added security. Located in North Mission Beach, this cottage is on a quiet court surrounded by long-term residents and owners. It is the fourth property from the beach, less than a 30 second walk to the boardwalk and sand. Vanitie Court is one of the narrower parts of Mission Beach so it is also a short walk to Mission Bay. There are many restaurants, shops and activities all within walking distance. Centrally located, this affordable rental is close to lots of beaches: Mission Beach, Mission Bay, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, and Ocean Beach. It is a short drive to Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, museums, and Downtown San Diego Gaslamp District. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, great location, and I wish I was still sitting on the front patio listening to the ocean! Great area for walking, biking, and viewing sunsets. Easy communication ŵith owners. Great patio area but no sunshine there in January. Online pictures portray the cottage well. We stayed with 2 adults and 6 kids (4months-10yrs). We cooked in most nights and the place had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. I especially appreciated all the beach equipment they supplied. They had umbrellas, chairs, body boards and sand toys which the kids loved. The location was perfect for mission beach, just a few steps from the sand. The place is small but just fine. Kind neighbors as well. Thanks for the great stay! ##### Marie M. Very close to the beach, restaurants (highly recommend the fish tacos at Single Fin). Great patio. Space is a little quirky. Either go through one bedroom to get to the bathroom and larger bedroom or access from outside. Not a problem for us, but could be for light sleepers. As others have noted, the garage is very small and the alley very narrow. Couldn’t get a midsized sedan in, but found on-street parking within a block without a lot of hassle. Right by the beach, easy walk over to the bay. The only real issue we had was that, even though we had the smallest car possible (under the number of inches mentioned in the owners instructions) there was no way we could park it in the garage. it wasn't the size of the garage that mattered as much as the angle getting it into the garage. With all the stuff in the alleyway, we could not swing the car wide enough to get it at an angle where we could get in the garage. We gave up after 15 minutes, which was a huge bummer because we were just going to uber until we saw it had a garage.Also, not an issue for us, but the layout might be difficult if you have young kids. The layout was such that the living room went into the bedroom with the bunk beds, which led into the bathroom, and then through there to the master. So if you are hoping to put your kids down and then stay up later (or get up earlier), you will have to tiptoe through their room to get to the bathroom and master bedroom. Having the patio area was very nice. We didn't have much time to use it, but definitely would have if given the opportunity. Lots of seating.Only other comment i would make is that the towels are pretty threadbare and should probably be upgraded sometime soon. ##### Sarah H.
