« This condo is roomy and modern, right on the beach. However it’s a full 13 steps up to the first level where the bedrooms are, and another 14 steps up to living, kitchen, and deck. This condo is furthest from the beach in the group, with very little view of the water. Fun for young families, not great for elderly travelers. »

Very well equipped, and perfectly quiet and clean. Deb & Lynn are perfect host, do not forget to stop by the little craft shop in the main house. Also, follow the book recommendations, all perfect. « Our stay at Otter Lake was absolutely lovely! We stayed for 4 nights and we were very comfortable in the three bedroom unit with spacious modern bathroom and large kitchen/ living area. There is no t.v or AC, so bring a good read or two and enjoy the art of conversation while staying here. We had our family vacation on Denman Island we didn’t miss either modern convenience. « Ocean front retreat was a wonderful memory for us to stay. Enjoyed every corner of the vacation home. The hot tube was easy to access, a lot of mosquitoes around 9pm, if you can, book a bit early. Sunset on the beach was beautiful. The curtain fail off on the 2 rd day when we are cooking, reported to landlord, she was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. »

But, the property was misrepresented and was not a “luxury private villa “, instead it was a basement suite in a shared home. Unfortunately, the property inside and outside was poorly maintained. The black mold, pink mold, grease, hair, dust bunnies, and finger prints on windows and appliances was unhealthy. Lack of mattress covers, top sheets, fitted sheets was disappointing.
