  • unique open concept with loft style bedroom. this space sits on our small acreage where our geese enjoy the pond and you can observe the creek and bird watch in your private fenced yard.
    Just out of town, but on the highway, you are close to everything courtenay has to offer including Mount Washington, Forbidden Plateau, Rivers, Lakes and all the hiking you could imagine.

Our stay was phenomenal! Lacey was so kind, easy to get in touch with and prompt with her replies. The place itself exceeded our expectations. It was so much bigger than I was expecting and everything we needed was provided (and more!). The place was private and quiet, immaculately clean and the beds were insanely comfy. My kids slept like rocks every night! I'd highly recommended this stay to anybody travelling to the area. Especially anybody looking for a family friendly option!

Lacey is a wonderful host, she is very nice and replies promptly to online messages. The property is not well-suited for seniors or guests with mobility issues. The loft beds requires navigation to a very steep stairs. Fortunately, there was an extra pull out bed allowed one couple to sleep comfortably. However , the second couple was forced to sleep on the reclining couch. The entrance gate going to the rented house is also very tight for minivan .

We were there for a week long stay. There were 5 adults and we used the accommodation as a home base while visiting friends and family in the area. Check in was very easy and smooth. Host Lacey was excellent to communicate with. Our questions were answered promptly. The beds in the loft worked great even for adults and were very comfortable. Murphy bed on main floor also very comfortable. Lots of seating on main floor to visit. Kitchenette was very functional for what we needed. It was right off 19A which was very convenient for touring around and getting to airport/shopping!

Fun place to stay with kids : they really enjoyed sleeping on the mezzanine. We loved watching the geese everyday.The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook our meals easily.The host let us check in early, which was great.
