Clearwater Vacation Packages

This hotel is tired and need a refresh. When we entered a man behind the counter couldn’t check us in and asked if we would sit down until he was ready. Then it looked like he and 2 others were making up a room. After 10 minutes, he returned with a lady speaking half English and half another language. I reminded them that we were traveling with a small dog which I had stated in the reservation. They were unaware of this and the man went off again and returned telling the lady in a different language something. At this point the lady took over and checked us into a pet room. We found the room itself to be tired and basic and neither my husband or I thought it was worth the money paid. (we are both from the hotel industry) The amenities again, were basic, it was nice to have a Keurig coffee machine and a fridge in our room however these are fairly standard in hotels. The carpet down the hall was stained quite heavily and needed to be cleaned. The beds were comfortable. And the room itself was clean.

The staff were super helpful with ny mom's walking difficulty. The family room felt like home and the scenery was beautiful

This hotel is nothing like the pictures that are shown, don't be fooled by the lobby. Carpets through out and in the room are filthy, and stained very badly, they smelled, they had actual gum stuck in them. The bathroom was dingy dark and the shower tray was so stained couldn’t tell if it was every white or not. The window overlooked a parking lot with the people doing drugs. The bed was so soft it felt like a hammock when you got in it. This hotel is very old, But is in need of a redo not just a face-lift. It then could be a charming hotel again. But as it stands it is not worth the price we were paid and they charge for parking. I was so glad it was only one night, because we didn't hardly sleep in those conditions.
