"We requested a high floor the night before and were assured that would not be a problem. We ended up on the ninth floor. Not really that big of a deal. The bathroom door would not close, which I feel should have been noticed by housekeeping prior to check-in. But I called down and they had someone up within minutes to fix the door, Everyone was very friendly, food at twenty-four seven was average. Not bad, but nothing special (although very reasonably priced)! This is our go to place in Blackhawk."

"Such a beautiful and relaxing property. The staff is super helpful and nice! Would highly recommend for families that need a place to relax and get In touch with nature. So many amazing views and wildlife, saw so many beautiful birds, elk, and deer!"

The Academy Hotel Colorado Springs

"The hotel was clean but it needed several things fixed. No vent in the bathroom. Small holes in the bathroom wall, the toilet was loose and rocked. The fireplace in the lobby was great as it was very cool in the atrium. Good variety of breakfast foods. I would suggest that they have a coffee pot along with the water that they keep in the lobby."

"Upon arrival I was shocked to see how beautiful this hotel was. The area was not the greatest as we approached the hotel, but once we got there it was a whole different experience! The staff was friendly, remembered my name and treated me as if I had been along time customer. Room service was excellent as well. I’m still waiting for the incidental fee to come off almost a week later. But other than that I will definitely be back!"
