The hotel is in a very central location, walking distance to the whole historic downtown district.
The property observed Boulder's guidelines regarding guests needing to wear masks in all public areas (except while dining) as well as regarding capacity, social distancing, cleanliness of public areas, and the use of masks and gloves by all staff at all times.
The room, which was one the larger ones, was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Due to the limited number of bookings, guests seemed to be clustered to specific areas on a variety of floors. However, we rarely saw other guests or staff in the hallways.
Lastly, three of the hotel's dining areas are open, all under the Spruce brand. These three include the hotel's banquet kitchen which is now servicing guests in very open indoor / outdoor spaces. When we dined in the latter area it featured a limited, seafood-focused menu.
