"This property was located about 45 minutes from The Great Sand Dunes NP visitor center. The home was very private, clean and well provisioned. Our favorite spot was the deck off of the loft which had a wonderful view of the mountains as well as the sunrise. The wrap around deck also had a great view where you could watch the sun set. There were many extras that added to the uniqueness of the rental. We would highly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful time at Star Mesa cabin. It suited us perfectly. The privacy and beauty really set this place apart. Communication was immediate and amenities were everything you enjoy at home. For us it was located just far enough out of town to get away from the congestion and noise but close enough to drive in for groceries or a nice dinner without much hassle. We will absolutely book this cabin again!"

"Seems like a well kept refuge, was out there during a hot period of time which was challenging. But there was no expectation of air conditioned provisions. It was good to see the stars again. Learned a bit about power consumption."

The cabin was very well maintained and equiped with anything you could think of from games to all the kitchen fixins tou can think of. Cabin is nicely located among some ranches/farms with good privacy and away from roads. Saw deer and elk from the cabin most days. Excellent place for a low-key reunion with friends. "Great stay. Be aware that the closest town/grocery store is about 20-30 minutes away. We stopped on the way in so we were prepared. Cabin was absolutely amazing and the host are very thoughtful in case you are not 100% prepared they get you by until.you can stock up. 100% recommended for a little piece n quite. Snowed for Christmas which made it even better for the family. Kids enjoyed playing in the snow and seeing the wild life roam."
