"It's pretty apparent when you get there why Crestone is considered one of the most spiritual places in the country. I hadn't looked at the town itself before booking because I look at pictures, price and rating. Skyview Terrace checked off all the boxes before I arrived but blew my expectations out of the water once I was there. The serene setting welcomes you, not just into the home but the community it's in. It's so quiet, peaceful and feels like home. Erin made sure every detail was covered, including fresh eggs, toothbrush and toiletries, and a blanket (or two) every place you could possibly want to sit, which is a huge bonus with me! If I could recommend anything, it would be to open all the windows and cuddle up under the covers to sleep. Between the fresh, crisp air and the oh-so-comfortable bed, I had the best night's sleep that I've had in years. I ended up extending ny stay 2 days because i would rather be comfortable where I'm staying and travel farther throughout the day then packing up, moving and unsure if I'll like the next place as much. Take the Creek Trail, try the bowl with yum yum sauce ahd chicken from Bliss, eat a meal at Our Food is Art and opt for the muffin for the next day if they have them. Always have a camera because the deer wander in town like stray cats! Oh and visit the North Crestone Campground. Beautiful little hidden place to wall the creek. Sunsets are amazing too! Best VRBO stay to date. Erin was so accommodating and kind!"

"house was very clean and comfortable to stay in. For some reason the ceiling fan in the master bedroom didn't work and that room gets no air flow at night like the two guest rooms and family room. Owner was sorry for it, I understand things break, all in all, it was a great place. Also, missing the smoke detector in the master bedroom. Location in description I believe said only 20 minutes from Great Sand Dunes NP which is actually about an hour. I had already mapped and knew, so didn't hurt me to much but we used this house as a base for going white water rafting in Salida as well, and it was centrally located for both those two adventures, so it worked great for us. "

"We stayed for three nights with our two kids, 4 and 6 y/o. It's a great house, beautifully decorated. I LOVE all of the plants. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, coffee grinder etc. The outdoor spaces are nice as well, although I'll admit that there were sooo many mosquitoes/bugs all day that we really couldn't use it. No AC, but it worked fine as long as we closed windows in the morning and opened them as soon as we could in the evening. Fans in the windows helped as well. The property owner was responsive via text when we had questions. FYI, there is an automatic damage protection fee that gets added that I don't recall encountering for other VRBOs, so I found that odd. But it was still a great find and we enjoyed it. Sand dunes are an hour away, and the alligator park is about 30 minutes away. Would recommend!"
