« Il n’y a pas de réception sur place. Le code de la porte est envoyé par sms juste avant. SAUF que ça ne fonctionne pas sur les portables non américains. Il y a un numéro à appeler, mais celui-ci ne fonctionnait pas non plus sur nos téléphones. Nous avons donc dû demander aux vacanciers de la chambre d’à côté d’appeler pour nous… L’hôtel est bien situé, en face du lac. Grand Lake est à 5 min en voiture. Les chambres sont…rustiques. Ensemble très moyen. »

« This is a great place. It is a plush property in a small town. Great staff, well run. The hottub was a plus. Would definitely come back to this gem. If you are thinking of staying in Manitou Springs and want something less touristy and more "colorado" I would check out the Little Beaver or Outlook Lodge. They are great! »

« We had a bit of confusion over the 3rd bedroom. It’s really only 2 bedrooms and a futon in a 3rd room. The addition of a featherbed helped some. The pool situation was a bit awkward because it is adjacent to the main house but the weather wasn’t very good so we didn’t mind. It was very clean and the host was friendly and helpful. »

The house is located within walking distance of several restaurants, but it is also centrally located if you are wanting to tour around the state. « Adorable small house, the women in my wedding party got ready here throughout the morning and my new husband and I stayed here after the wedding. Because it's so small, some amenities were hard to find in various nooks, but the hosts were perfect and helpful with everything! »
