"The staff at this hotel are wonderful, very responsive and great at making you feel welcome. Room was very clean, love the way things are decorated and very comfortable. I tend to run cold but housekeeping provided blankets very quickly! Will definitely stay again when we visit our family in DC. Thank you very much. DC has many hotels to offer and I've stayed in many of them over the years when my travel to DC was always work related. Hotel Nell was a delight and a jewel among a lot of very nice but predictable hotels that are typical. Hotel Nell is just fun and unique. Don't miss the opportunity to stay there and the location is also fantastic. NOMA is a very fun area with lots of delightful finds to discover in the area."

"Non smoking building but the room smelled of smoke and I found a cigarette butt in the bathroom. Felt generally unsafe. Would not stay again. "

"My stay was great for the price. Front Desk guy was awesome. Parking lot was adequate. I walked to a brewery. Ubered to the club. Slept soundly she when I got back and checked out easily. Nothing fantastic about the place but I wasn't in town to hang in my room"
