Richard was a brilliant host, giving us lots of tips for the best hikes, coffee and groceries etc. You genuinely can't beat the location if you are planning on hiking. So many brilliant trails are on your doorstep. Everything was clean and convenient, with beautiful views. We visited in Winter but all beds had electric blankets and the house had ducted heating so we were always comfortable. We can't wait to come back! »

« The house has all that is required for convenient stay of 6 people, that is well equipped kitchen, seperate dining, launge, 3 bedrooms, ducted heater in all rooms and split airconditioner in dining, pleasant and green backyard with nice outdoor area, wood fireplace. Single bathroom may be a bit of a problem for the large company. It would be nice to have wood choping tools in order to make chips suitable for starting the fire, because logs provided or available in shops are way too thick for the...

« My partner and I spent a wonderful weekend at the cottage. I ran the UTMB 22km trail run on the Friday and spent the remainder of the weekend relaxing in the cottage and enjoying the local area. The cottage is extremely comfortable and our chocolate Labrador enjoyed it immensely as well. »

« The property was warm and comfortable on a very wet and cold weekend. We had a water leak in the back bathroom over the toilet. Also the driveway side gardens could do with a little attention as it was quite difficult to get in and out of the car due to the overgrowth, especially as it was raining and everything was wet. Easier to park on the street when there is a couple of cars. »
