Cat On The Hat is a great place to get away and relax surrounded by the peace & ambiance that the beautiful village of Blackheath has to offer.
A short stroll from the village center where you can enjoy a drink and meal at one of the two pubs without the worry of driving or parking
The town also plays host to an exceptional growers market which takes place once a month, live music , incredible fresh foods to purchase from the many stalls that include tastings and beautiful fresh food to take back to the studio and prepare a lovely meal on your Weber gas bbq
At Cat On The Hat you are less than a 5 minute drive to the popular lookouts such as "Govetts Leap", the Hat Hill Road lookouts, such as Pulpit Rock and others.
Also very close to Katoomba and Leura
If bush walking isn't your thing the local village has a large variety of restaurants & cafes to dine at or just grab a coffee.
Gas, Reverse cycle air conditioning, electric heating and electric blankets are available at Cat on the hat to beat our chilly weather. 🔥
Comfortable lounge room, TV with Netflix, docking station for playing your music etc.
The bedroom boasts a luxury king size bed
So you can enjoy a cat nap or a long restful nap with a chiropractic mattress , and of course an electric blanket for those chilly nights.
All quality fresh linen and towels are supplied for your convenience and comfort
The bathroom is well appointed walk in shower, hairdryer etc

There is a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, dishwasher and electric oven,
Plates, cups, Kettle and toaster and large electric frying pan
Also a Weber bbq on the outside covered deck area
You can either eat in the dining room off the kitchenette or open the two glass french doors and walk straight out onto the rear covered sunny deck which has a webber gas bbq.
The deck is just perfect for morning coffees, afternoon champagnes and meals at any time of day.

Electricity to microwave cut out so had to pull it firwatd to restart it at the socket and the top of the fridge is very dusty. Tv keeps losing sound otherwise enjoyed our stay. Will stay again. Thank you

Our stay at the Cottage was wonderful, enhanced by a visit from the resident cats, Coco & Poppie. The location is very convenient to attractions & shops. A spacious but cosy place with a lovely enclosed patio. Check in & check out instructions clear & straight forward. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Wonderful studio with absolutely everything you could want provided. Very private, warm and cozy, with comfy furnishings. The area is perfect, very quiet but near everything. This place is a real gem!

A beautiful cute, quirky, cozy little apartment. Fairy lights at night, plenty of hot water with great pressure, heaps of crockery and cutlery so you don’t have to keep reusing the same cups etc, heating at the touch of a button, (no messy open fire) and a great comfy bed. Close enough to town to walk. Great bushwalking nearby. Would book again!

My 5 year old daughter and I had a quick mid week getaway from Sydney to do some small hikes in the area. The property was beautiful and easy to check in, and loved the cat themed decor. Gorgeous outdoor seating area too. Thanks for an easy stay!

I was there in July we had a couple of really cold days and night and we were warm and cozy. Poppie came to visit us to welcome us on the first afternoon but after that we didn’t see her. Great location can easily come by train if you want. Will come back in summer and do some hiking.

#### Cozy getaway in a beautiful area
Very cozy house, multiple sources of heating and plush lounge throws, perfect for a Winter getaway. Located on a quiet road but still close to shops. Excellent communication with owner. It was enjoyable to see where previous guests had come from, when we signed the guestbook. Great to have a full kitchen to prepare food in. There was also an outdoor BBQ and seating area, but we didn’t use it because the weather was too cold being mid-Winter. We would be happy to stay again!
