### Your very own estate in the Blue Mountains

DANTOSA BLUE MOUNTAINS RETREAT   
  
Dantosa Blue Mountains Retreat provides you with a secluded 9-acre estate with numerous walking paths, private gardens, a private lake, floating lake house, tennis court, BBQ facilities, gazebo and even its own croquet lawn. Dantosa is a 5-minute drive from the famous Three Sisters and the Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park. Originally a goat farm, the property has a 30-year-old established Blue Mountains garden and accommodation in Dantosa House.   
  
Dantosa House has accommodation for 10+ guests in shared bedrooms.   
  
Please note, there is a second accommodation - Dantosa Cottage (see https://www.stayz.com.au/holiday-rental/p7646294). On occasions we may have guests booked into the Dantosa Cottage at the same time as Dantosa house. The building are spaced apart by about 50 metres.  
  
At Dantosa you will enjoy total privacy. As one guest puts it, “You live in a beautiful oasis, and yet you are only minutes away from restaurants, shops and the national park.” Enjoy a game of tennis, kayaking on the lake, a game of boules or a stroll in the beautiful gardens. After a day’s bushwalking, come back to luxury. Arrange for a local chef to cater for your group, take a spa bath, or simply gather around the log fireplace with a glass of wine and your friends.

Originally a goat farm, the property has a 30-year-old established Blue Mountains garden and accommodation in two buildings - Dantosa House and nearby Dantosa Cottage. When booking Dantosa House, there is accommodation for up to 10 guests in shared bedrooms.  
  
DANTOSA HOUSE   
  
Dantosa House sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Extra beds can be added for larger groups.  
  
Dantosa House includes:  
  
 \- 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bedrooms  
 \- a large gourmet kitchen fully stocked with appliances, kitchenware and even spices, oils and other condiments  
 \- the kitchen includes a large ILVE stove and dual ovens, dishwasher, microwave, expresso machines, etc.   
 \- a large combined dining and living are ideal for entertaining  
 \- a large 85" SMART TV screen perfect for sports and presentations  
 \- magnificent lake views from the living room, kitchen and main bedroom  
 \- fast WiFi  
 \- a dedicated 6 burner BBQ is located immediately outside Dantosa House with access to the kitchen and plentiful outdoor lighting  
 \- linen, towels and all bathroom amenities are included  
 \- Dantosa's estate including 9 acres of gardens, paths, a lake and lakehouse, tennis court, croquet lawn and gazebo  
 \- Dantosa's underground cellar is also available for wine tastings or private hire. Please enquire for more information  
  
The bedrooms are configured as follows:

\- Queen bed with garden view   
\- King bed (or two singles) with garden view   
\- Luxury bunk beds for two which fold away into the wall if required  
The bathrooms include:  
\- 3.5 bathrooms, one with a spa bath and lake view   
\- 4 separate toilets

Fast Wifi access is available throughout the house.

#### 10 stars at Katoomba

The stayz images do not give this property the credit it deserves. The quality of what we received is reminiscent of our 5 star resort experiences in South East Asia and certainly much better than similarly priced properties in Australia. The owner, Derek met us on our arrival and seems like a really nice and generous fellow. We were welcomed with a beautiful fruit bowl, cookies and cheese platter which was pleasantly unexpected. The house was spacious, fully equipped (including A1 kitchen). Cooling and heating systems were great and needed in the Blue Mountains. The children loved the Tennis Court and Kayaking on the lake.

#### Great retreat

Dantosa quickly became a comfortable and beautiful country haven for our two families. From walking through the amazing secluded gardens, sitting on the deck of the lake house, playing tennis and basketball or simply enjoying the luxury of the spacious house, there was something for everyone of all ages. A wonderful time was had by all.
