The Stanley Hotel

"parking staff were most helpful, the two interactions i had with the check in staff were also great. the stairs leading to second or i guess main floor of the hotel definitely need replaced- the tiles were falling apart. the bathrooms in the main hotel building on the lower floor were pretty dirty & a lot of the glass or plexiglass for the displays on history or decoration were looking rough making some of the history articles/ notes hard to read and harder to see so the visual impact felt like it was lacking due to that. the aspire building was well maintained and clean (other than a few random gnats) hoping next time i make the drive up to estes park construction will be near done & that kore areas in the main original stanley hotel will be open to public- having 3/4 of the rooms made for a slightly disappointing experience considering how much it costs to stay there. regardless, i took my mom here after talking about it for the last 10 years & we still had such a great time!"

"This was our second visit to the cabin. It is clean, well equipped and close to the park and village shops. The hot tub is a welcoming friend after a day of hiking. We started each day with coffee while sitting around the fire pit watching for wild life. Hope to return again soon!!!!"
