The Outpost was great. Staff were friendly throughout the stay, the offered great recommendations. The room was spacious enough for our family of 4. We even had an elk greet us at our doorstep!
The room was spacious and comfortable. It was located only a few minutes from the entrance to the National Park.

The room was clean. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable and the breakfast was minimal.
Not worth the cost of the room.

While the bed was very comfy & the location was decent, only stay here if you want to be woken up by other folks going between their hotel room & cars starting at 3am… There is very minimal sound barrier so you’ll hear every door slam, car beep, conversation, etc. We stayed for two nights & felt like zombies by the time we got home. Good option if you’ll be waking up very early for your adventures.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We enjoyed the pool and bicycles. We didnt like the very noisy squeeky doors and noise from other guests in rooms and outside. We were not able to sleep.
Directions to check in from app are weird BUT staff at both locations was excellent in getting it straightened out.
Room is very large, clean, and well appointed, especially given the price.
The interior of this hotel has been recently redone with tile floors and has a very European feel. I love that there is shelving - like an entire bookshelf - in the bathroom area for storing all of your travel gear and suitcases. When I checked in, they gave me a little brochure explaining how to use the room amenities along with QR codes for the websites to nearby attractions. I think one of my favorite things is that the room came with a softsided cooler that could be filled up with bottled water and ice in the lobby to take hiking. High altitude can really dehydrate you, so I love it that they are taking care of the physical well-being of their guests. Comfy bed and quiet. Cute place. Will definitely stay here again.
I was worried because if some strange reviews about bugs in bathroom and poor condition of the rooms. I don’t agree at all. The room was very clean. Bath tub / shower was impeccable and the front desk team was amazing.
I like the bicycles.
I like the breakfast. They also have trail mix snacks on the Looby.
I like the location.
I like the room, the body wash and shampoo were excellent.

Liked: Staff & service
Staff seem to be a little bit clueless. Bed was very comfortable, but the room itself specifically the bathroom didn’t feel the most cleanly. Mostly just age, but you can definitely see some mold growth and the grout in the tile has had better days.
Absolutely loved this hotel and the staff. I would definitely stay here again. Room was cozy, bed was comfy. One of the main things I loved, was they had a small cooler in the room you could use to take w you in a hike or to the lake and they also had my favorite Rocky Mountain hiking book that gives you many hikes you can do. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Only suggestion I would say is have a little more options for breakfast. Other than that loved it so much!
All the doors and cabinets in the room were not great. They seemed very old:
Beds were very good.
Staff was really nice.
Breakfast is only, yoghurt, granola, muffin and fruit. It’s only a few minutes drive from town.
The pool was closed when we were there and it’s the size of a big hot tub..
