Aridagawa Vacation Packages

Room was OK but the lack of staff at front counter makes it very inconvenient. On the booking confirmation it states that "The front desk is open daily from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The check-in location differs from the property location. To check in, go to 8-4 Kitakarasumacho, Higashikujo, Minami Ward, Kyoto 601-8017" . So when we arrive at 8pm, we walk 10 min to the address above to check in and walked another 20 min to the hotel. Later we found out that you could actually also check in direct at the hotel between 4-9pm. The booking instructions are misleading!

Very modern and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, gave us some great recommendations. The hotel itself is walking distance to a great shopping district as well as some amazing temples. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great hotel! My room was really nice with two twin beds and lounger to relax on. I had a bit of a view with the big picture window. This is a very walkable area 5 minutes walk to the nearest train station. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a ton of convenience stores with great food options too. The breakfast buffet is pretty awesome, just get there no later than 8:30. I highly recommended 👍

Being close to the train station was a big bonus for us. The property is really nice and there were plenty of restaurant options within walking distance.

Charming little hotel in northern Gion. Super convenient location for us during our stay in Kyoto, as it’s within walking distance of Gion and Higashiyama. And with Sanjo station nearby, making trips to other parts of Kyoto, as well as Nara and Osaka, was also easy. Thanks for helping to make our first trip to Kyoto unforgettable!
