"We were fortunate to be upgraded to the deluxe "cabins" at the top of the property but were also very pleased with the rafting trip and staff at the center. The restaurant at the river was very good and a great convenience as we dined there all three nights of our stay. The prices there were very reasonable for dinner. The train trip offered at Bryson City was excellent and about a 20 minute drive to reach."

Quaint, Private log cabin mountain top retreat

8/10 Good

"Owner “Dan” I believe, was super communicative before the trip date, and called the cabin to check on us during our stay. (We arrived when tropical storm Isaias was approaching.) It was late and dark when we arrived (though the owner did advise to get there early, so it was due to our schedule) and the driveway caused us hesitancy halfway up about whether we were on the correct driveway as some segments were narrow with some patches of loose gravel rocks which made us assume it wasn’t traveled frequently - however, all was well and we made it up safely. The cabin was very secluded and felt like a small, cozy, wooden mountain cabin. It was clean and the storm blew lots of fall leaves and branches around overnight but the colors were pretty after the fact. Lots of firewood, pots/pans, seasonings, TP, paper towels, couch blankets and a traditional coffee maker. Hot tub was nice and we enjoyed the lights on it. The floor warmers made the space warm and cozy. We appreciated the family getaway!"

Nantahala Mountain Views.

10/10 Excellent

"We loved the peaceful, relaxing and gorgeous location off Wayah Road and the mountain view off the back deck was exceptional! The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The host, Judy, was quick to answer our questions.Coming from Florida, we found Stillwind Drive challenging but doable in our Telluride. I was glad we did not meet any cars coming and going as the drive is narrow and curvy and there are only a couple of places to let a car pass. There seem to be only a handful of cabins off Stillwind and only one seem to be occupied at the time so our chances of not meeting anyone were good. I highly recommend this cabin and look forward to staying here again."

Running Branch Lodge (cabin) Nantahala, rafting, zipline,Wifi, dtv, firepit, stream

10/10 Excellent

"The Lodge is situated in a very quiet, sheltered, gated neighborhood not too far outside of Andrews. It is easily accessible off the road and has ample parking in front. Once inside it very well appointed with everything anyone would need for a self catering vacation. The bedrooms are up a straight set of stairs on the second floor and off the master there is a good size bathroom. There is also another bathroom at the head of the stairs with a walk-in shower. The leaves in the trees were showing their fall colors making the surrounding countryside very scenic. We enjoyed our stay and can see why this property is highly rated."

GORGEOUS LAKE FRONT CABIN - PRIVATE LAKE ACCESS-FISHING, KAYAKING, AND HIKING.

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful time at this location/property! It is beautiful leading up to the property & it sits on a lake. The property had everything we needed. I highly recommend going here."

Luxury vacation home right on the Nantahala River in Bryson city NC

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful home, beautiful location, our family had a wonderful time. Great host, for sure! The house was fully stocked with spices, coffee, paper plates and other things that came in handy. We brought most of the stuff we needed but I was impressed at the amount of items available for our use, if needed. Highly recommend!! Thank you to the Martin family!!"
