"This is a great place to stay when visiting the Nantahala and surrounding area. The house was clean with nice quality towels, mattresses, and bedding. We felt very at home and loved the decor. Our teen boys enjoyed the separate outdoor room or man cave as they called it. We played pool and corn hole as well. Our evening ended with s’mores by the fire. We will definitely be back!"

"Everything we could want and more! Such a nice relaxing getaway in a perfect location. Only a few minutes from the lake and the views were stunning! You can tell the owners take pride and great ownership of the cabin. We will be back to make more memories in a beautiful location. "
"Hemlock Haven was amazing, absolutely loved it. Loved seeing the hummingbirds all day everyday, the million dollar view of the lake and mountains, the kitchen is stocked nicely, and the grill was great, so was able to cook some amazing meals. We appreciated the beautiful landscaping, and the place was so comfortable, next best thing to home for sure. We also enjoyed being able to rent a pontoon boat on the same lake! Our family had a great week staying at Hemlock Haven. Of all the places we have rented in North Carolina over the years, we all agreed, this was our favorite Highly recommend Hemlock Haven!!! Thank you for sharing this gem with us"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Dock House! Incredible views from all rooms. We enjoyed the deck space and covered seating area. Boat dock is very nice and kids enjoyed the kayaks! We spent a lot of time fishing and relaxing on the dock. Rented a boat from Lakes End Marina and they delivered/pick up to the house dock. Beds & couch were comfortable and we enjoyed playing pool! There is a regular carafe coffee maker with kureig pod option as well. Gas grill and smoker available for use. The driveway is very steep as stated in the description so we were prepared. We arrived in day light and were able to carefully back down the driveway with our large SUV. There are two other parking landings if you are not comfortable backing all the way down. I would still suggest backing down to the landings. We had a great family vacation!Thank you Mike for sharing your beautiful home! "

"This cabin worked very well for us as it was just a short walk or drive from Nantahala Weddings. Loved the wood paneling and ceilings. Kitchen was well equipped. Awesome view from the deck. And the dock with the kayaks was a nice way to spend a couple of hours."
