« Stayed in the cottage room. Really small bathroom. The screened in porch, advertised as an upgrade to this room, and the reason we booked this room, was filthy and filled with hardware and cleaning supplies. Completely cluttered and, dirty and unusable.
Breakfast was served and was not good. Eggs and fruit were edible, the rest was not.
Overall place was dirty and not worth the roughly $170 we paid to stay there.

« We stayed in a Hemlock Bungalow. It was superb. The bungalow was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was clean, and quiet. The amenities of the NOC were great as well. The staff that we interacted with were professional and extremely helpful. Overall my wife and I were very satisfied with our stay. The only negative I have was the shower fan didn't vent well and the shower design gets the bathroom floor very wet. Regardless, I recommend a visit. »

« I love this place, it was so nice, quiet and peaceful. The remodeling of the Inn was spot on it kept the charm of the original Inn and the grounds were beautiful. The innkeeper Tim was an excellent host. We even got to meet the owner.
If you are looking for a romantic get away or just simple low key charm this is a gem found in a remote lovely location in North Carolina. We will defiantly be back. »
