"This is a wonderful little hotel in Kranjska Gora. My wife and I were traveling through Slovenia on vacation/holiday and looking to stay in the general area of Bled but avoid the crowds and potentially higher expense. This was a great find. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They provided abundant information and suggestions about the area. They gave us a room that was comfortable and had a good view. The breakfast was excellent - a broad buffet selection with additional kitchen-cooked items (eggs, etc.). It was delicious and very filling and satisfying. The hotel was quiet, clean and well-maintained. It appeared that ski season ended one or two weeks prior and the hotel was not crowded. We struck up friendly conversations with other guests and got additional perspectives for touring. As we were leaving to head south, we got the heads-up from the proprietors that the mountain pass that we intended to travel was closed because of a recent snowstorm. They gave us alternate suggestions plus a map with good directions. They went above and beyond. We HIGHLY recommend Garni Hotel Miklic. We REALLY enjoyed our stay. "Our apartment was fully equipped with a kitchenette, utensils, a living room with a couch and even a balcony to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views! But the best thing about our stay was the exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows. We slept soundly and awoke refreshed each morning."

"Overall this is a very good hotel. It’s location is amazing, just next to Lake Bohinj. The staff are helpful and friendly. Lots of choice for breakfast although the cooked eggs, bacon etc do look as though they have been standing around for a while. The hotel is very clean. The shower did flood a bit as there was no lip on the shower tray. The only qualm I would have is that the room could do with a kettle. I would definitely come back to Hotel Jezero. "
