"This is a family run Motel (new owners ) conveniently located close to Provincial parks and lakes. Everyone was friendly and very welcoming. We stopped by early to see if we could possibly check in early. Malik and his family were very accommodating and went out of their way to make this happen for us. The Motel room was very clean, with some recent updates to it ( the bathroom). The Motel is being gradually renovated and updated and you can see that progress is slowly being made (Malik reassured us there would be no noise during our stay and there wasn’t!)"

Waterfront Cottage - Lake and Loon- Family Friendly Accessible

"Lake and Loon was Beautiful inside and out. Exceptionally clean with an open concept so that you can enjoy the view throughout the cottage. Outdoors was well groomed with a flat landscape which allowed my parents and baby to navigate the yard with ease.We enjoyed fishing off the dock and taking out the canoe and pedal boat. The wind did end up taking us on an adventure, so would recommend a boat safety kit along with life jackets.Martha was an exceptional host and very quick to respond to any questions we had. She takes pride in her cottage and sincerely wishes her guests a memorable experience! We loved our time at Lake and Loon and absolutely intend on vaccationing there again!!Thank you so much Martha "

"If you are looking for a cottage to recharge your batteries, this is the one! Coffees on the dock in the morning, drinks on the deck in the evening as the sun sets and the loons dive for their dinner, this is the quintessential Canadian cottage. Spotless with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, this cottage has it all. The hosts were readily available to answer any questions, the neighbors were warm and welcoming making this a memory we will treasure. We will definitely return."

The Sandpiper - Quiet 3-bedroom retreat

"Great resourt for families with small kids, a playground and a community beach really helps to foster new friendships. Kids also got into fishing this week. With the stores nearby (walking distance ) we bought everything we needed for fishing, including kids fishing rods.We also rented a pantoon boat which was a fun experience for our family. The host is very friendly and responsive, a few minor inconveniences got fixed right away."

"Wonderful place no frills. If you enjoy fishing and kayaking this is the place. We took our own rods and kayaks but they have a couple sit ins. Just a heads up, no AC but usually it’s ok with the few exceptions of a hot day, we had one so we just spent it at the beach about 12 minutes away. My 9 year old was catching little fish every minute, he keeps talking about it. The first day there we had a bad 10 minute storm that cut off the power but they have a generator that works flawlessly."
