« My wife and I stayed at the Westwind Inn this past weekend and were disappointed by both the value and customer service. When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. « Although the staff we encountered were fine and the lake view is beautiful, the condition of the "cottage" we stayed in was terrible. It had not been renovated and apparently not recently occupied. It had cobwebs, spiders and bugs (some should be expected given its location) and the walls and floor were quite dirty. The rate was what would be expected at a five-star resort, which this is not. »

« I would give it a 5 star but when we arrived the grass hadn't been mowed and to sit around the fire pit we had to stomp down the grass to enjoy the fire, saying that the mosquitoes were pretty bad. I tried communicating with the host a few times and no response from her. There were no bath towels or face clothes, luckily we brought our own. Other than that the cottage was cozy and the kitchen was stocked with what you needed. Close to neighbouring towns for hiking and small town shopping. »

« Beth was a very gracious host. The camper was clean and well appointed. The grounds was spacious. There were outdoor games (connect 4 and Tetris). Beth even showed my toddler her chicken coup! »

« If we could give this place more than 5 stars, we definitely would! We had such an amazing stay. The owners are some of the nicest people we've met. They’re ver friendly, welcoming and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. Even though they live right next door, we still had complete privacy throughout our stay.
