Perched across the Hudson River, this small township offers spectacular Manhattan skyline views from the Hamilton Park waterfront promenade. Take the ferry for a quick city escape, or visit the historic dueling grounds where Alexander Hamilton's famous final standoff unfolded.
I just loved this place! So charming! Clean and welcoming! Everything walkable : metro stations, restaurants. Such a beautiful area! Parking is so easy to find. I parked my car all week with no problem, since I was using public transportation.

My son and I were “stuck” in NYC for 2 nights due to the global internet fiasco. With literally no reasonably priced rooms with more than 1 bed, I used filters to drill down and found Pod. What a cool place!!! The location could not be better for the walking tourist, and the concept is genius. What a fantastic use of space and a focus on cleanliness. If I ever find myself in NYC, I won’t be looking for a place to stay, I’ll be staying at Pod.

Walked to Times Square. Rode the ACE line downtown to see comedy at the cellar. Also to Chelsea Market and Highline. Went uptown to Hayden Planetarium and spent an afternoon walking central park.
Dinner at Norma's and Sunset Blvd on Broadway.
Concert at pier 17 rooftop.
Breakfast at Gemini diner on 2nd. Nice walk. Blueberry pancakes.
