"This hotel was not entirely what we were expecting. It is a village, that’s for sure. The shops were convenient and provided a nice thing to do. It is huge. Wall to wall people. Lots and lots of kids and families. If that is your vibe, you will likely enjoy. The only adult pool was a little pool in a spa area of one of the hotels. No bar. No amenities. The other pools were over crowded and lots of kids. The food was not great but very pricey. Our best times were off the resort which was disappointing. I probably could have researched better. If you were envisioning glorious pools or swim up bars or rest and relaxation, we didn’t really find that here."

"The place was great - reason why I scored it 4 stars because we have 2 balconies but we can’t even go out in them since they were doing some work and the noise was loud. Luckily we were out most of the time. That being said - the resort fee was just to much but what’s included like beach chairs beach umbrella, classes that they offer like yoga and activities it would have been worth it but off course you go to Oahu to see places not to stay in hotel and do activities - so we were not able to use them. Plus even if you go to the beach you can find places to sit and hang in the beach. We like that they had several restaurants, several Starbucks, shopping stores in premises. And if you go to excursions one of the stop to pick you up is this hotel. Will come back again if I have a chance to go back in Waikiki. Staff was great as well. Mahalo."
