"We absolutely loved Hotel Van Zandt. The room was beautiful, the staff was super friendly and the bar was great. Geraldine’s was nice for food and the live music there was great! Highly recommend "

"I had to leave the hotel because the room was really dirty. Stained bed sheets, the room smelled really bad and bathroom towels were not even organized, just thrown in the sink looked like they were not cleaned. The said they had no more rooms available so I left."

"Maybe it is just me. The reviews all seemed great, but I’m not one to talk badly about a place but this was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had. From door locks not working, cockroaches in my room, flooding in my room to the lack of any sort of hospitality or help that you would expect from a “4 star” experience. I respect the manager for working with me and doing his best to help and decrease a charge for pet “damage” but it was a difficult few weeks staying here. Bring help if you need it moving in and out or to another room which i had to 4 times. It is a great location and cool building but don't expect help from the staff. The air conditioning worked very well."

"The hotel is semi decent for the price. The front lobby didn’t have air conditioning which was frustrating during check in because I was sweating the entire time. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful "

"Overall, the stay was good, but the hospitality could be improved. After the first night, it was difficult to get extra sheets and towels, and our room was not cleaned during the stay.The day before we left housekeeping stepped up. But overall everything else was good close to all the bars and good food."

"The Front desk was amazing and very attentive. They welcome us as we arrived and provided us great service. I felt recognized because when we were come and go throughout our visit, they remembered us, which I thought would be hard to do and even inquired later when I couldn’t find my credit card, later they asked, did I find it. Which I did, it was in my purse. Breakfast was delicious and they offered different items on different days, so kept it interesting, and they continue to refill items says they begin to get low, so we never had to wait. And the staff kept the tables clean and made direct eye contact when saying good morning. Very pleasant experience. Thank you"
