Romantic beach home with golf cart Remodeled Coastal charm
6/10 Okay
"The island and location were exactly what we needed! Disconnecting was our goal! The communication with the property managers coming into our trip was good. All questions were answered. There was an issue with our “late arrival”. There is no indication in any of the information that stated what a late arrival was considered, but just a mention of a 75 fee for it. We were arriving on the last ferry at 6:30pm and that is considered late. The hours of check in are 4pm-5:30. So be aware of that when you travel. Our groceries were ordered ahead of time and put away for our arrival. That’s totally worth the extra money!!! There are spices there, such as S&P, Pam, but not much else. The living space and bedrooms are great! We were comfortable and had a great visit! The beach chairs, small cooler and umbrella were a great benefit!!The listing for the house showed bikes, kayaks, paddles, and carts for them. There was only 1 kayak, no paddle, no cart, and no bikes. This was actually a draw for us with this property. We had a few issues with the golf cart that is provided. When notifying the property about it, we got no response. Then when it quit working altogether, we were told that there was no one to help us and it’s unfortunate. It had rained and several of the roads were flooded, so we walked barefoot to get places! We will definitely be back to the island, probably not using this property management group. "

Private Beach Access Steps Away, Pool, Outdoor Bar, 2 Golf Carts, 360 Views.
10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed at many different houses on the island this this one is for sure one of my favorites. The kitchen had all the gadgets including an ice maker that came in very handy. Definitely the coldest AC on the island! The heated pool also had cooling feature which we really appreciated cooling down after those long hot summer days. The property management staff was on point. Anytime we needed something fixed or addressed they were attentive and quick. Very happy with our stay overall. The only extra thing that would have been nice to have would have been bikes for the tweens to get around the island on their own."
"This house was a great place to stay on North Captiva. The property manager is fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and to help with all our needs from finding a place to dock our boat to an extra golf cart and so much more. If you are looking for a great place with an amazing view this is it! "
4 Bedroom Beach Home on a Private Island with a Private Pool
10/10 Excellent
" My family and I just wanted to send out a thank you again to a very gracious host. The home was lovely and we had a wonderful trip. A couple of great surprises were that there was a highchair and a pack & play. With a 2 year old it was a great thing to find. The family enjoyed the game room, the pool, the amazing view, and just every moment. Watching the sunrise and the sunset from your deck were some of our daily favorite moments. "
Dolphin Cottage: Beachfront Home with Stunning Views & Private Beach
8/10 Good
"Perfect location and easy access to the beach. All the furniture was uncomfortable to sit in. Only had two chairs for the beach. Not all the outlets worked in the bedroom so we had to charge them in the living room and kitchen. "
