4 Bedroom Beach Home on a Private Island with a Private Pool
10/10 Excellent
" My family and I just wanted to send out a thank you again to a very gracious host. The home was lovely and we had a wonderful trip. A couple of great surprises were that there was a highchair and a pack & play. With a 2 year old it was a great thing to find. The family enjoyed the game room, the pool, the amazing view, and just every moment. Watching the sunrise and the sunset from your deck were some of our daily favorite moments. "
"The property is on a prime location on the north end of the island close to the N. Captiva- Cayo Costa pass. The house has all the amenities you need and comes with golf carts to get you to the local restaurants, beaches, clubhouse pool, etc. The outside patio and dock area is one of the best on the island. Our group caught snook, redfish, black drum, sheepshead, snapper, sharks, and other fish from the dock on lures and live bait caught right there so bring a cast net. We had three generations of family in our group and everyone had a great time. Renting a boat is a big plus as you can get to the Sanibel area and barrier islands pretty easily. I would recommend this property for any outdoor enthusiasts. "

Dolphin Cottage: Beachfront Home with Stunning Views & Private Beach
8/10 Good
"Perfect location and easy access to the beach. All the furniture was uncomfortable to sit in. Only had two chairs for the beach. Not all the outlets worked in the bedroom so we had to charge them in the living room and kitchen. "
WHITE PELICAN WATCH- Unobstructed views, on beach, heated pool, slip NEW LISTING
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing vacation at the White Pelican. Everything was perfect and everyone was very attentive. Thank you for the memories! We will definitely be back"
"We are already planning a return trip. To be steps from the actual beach was such a gift. Down the way where there is public beach access, many vacationers paid charter boats to take them to our island. However, we could simply walk the beaches at our leisure on our own schedule. No need to hire and schedule an outing. We also didn't need to hire a fishing guide as many others do. We knew enough about fishing to acquire licenses and bring our own equipment and caught fish right off our shore and dock because it was a prime spot. The highlight was catching a shark! Our hosts were very, very good and made us feel comfortable. They communicated pertinent information and were available if ever needed. Our family enjoyed beach combing. We found conch, starfish, sea urchin, jelly fish, and ALL SORTS of shells. (We brought home an entire tote of shells!) There is even a shipwreck to check out. Our older kids enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and all sorts of beach games like cornhole and volleyball. The beach was an enjoyable place to sit in the sun or under the shade of umbrellas. This vrbo home was our vacation and it was truly worth every penny."
