"We have stayed at this hotel several times a year, every time we attend an event at the Harvester. Over the years, the condition of the property continues to decline. The side entrance door does not close securely making it easy for non guests to enter. The bathroom shower curtain had dark black hairs all over it. The shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers have been removed. The ceiling in the bathroom has mold on it. Very disappointing as this has been our go to hotel wherever we are in Rocky Mount for a night of music. We will be looking for a different place to stay next month. "

"This hotel is VERY welcoming. My sister [Heidi 8 in August] and I were both spoiled with delicious breakfast. Plus our servers Marissa and Traverse were very warm and welcoming. I recommend a raise. And one thing I love, [for I am a kid and do not like long drives] is that it is close to many restaurants' and this hotel serves its own meals. As for the room, our family had a suite with two queen beds and a sofa bed. We were comfortable. One thing that disappointed me very much was that the pool was closed and the front desk said it should be on the website and we checked the website 5 times and it said pool open. "I usually stay here for personal or business trips by myself and book the single bed unit. On a prior visit, a neighbor had to switch from one single bed unit to another for a problem. On this visit, no single bed unit was available due to a problem. I was given the two bed unit, which is more expensive; however I did not enjoy it as much as my prior visits with a single bed unit. The rooms are too small for the two bed units; so my stay was a little less comfortable than expected. Overall, however, I still consider it a top motel and excellent place to stay in this area. Next time, I was promised my single bed unit would be good to go. :)"

"The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The location was great! We enjoyed the deck and dock and being right on the water. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would suggest is adding mirrors in the bedrooms to make getting ready easier since there's just the one mirror in the bathroom. :) That said, I highly recommend this booking!"

"We had a great time and would return! Our group loved the house and it was perfect for our chill winter weekend away. We had some issues which took a moment to address but they were apologetic and took care of it quickly after finding someone to help fix the hot tub. Our one complaint is that we did notice that several doors not only do not lock but also do not stay closed which was an issue with 15 people sharing bathrooms. Also the walls are thin! Bring ear plugs!"

"We really appreciated our host - she was super helpful, always connected, nice and professional. We faced some issues, caused by the weather and beyond anybody's control, but the host just saved our trip. Because of her we had wonderful weekend, relaxing and quiet. We would love to come back again. "
