This lovely fully remodeled two bedroom one bath cabin is the perfect base camp for all of your lake adventures. Your private log cabin includes a deck overlooking the lake, living room with new comfortable furniture, 55" Smart TV and high speed internet for streaming, fully stocked kitchen with beautiful granite counters, full bathroom with tile shower, two bedrooms with queen beds and memory foam mattresses. We recommend getting around by boat on the lake, but you can drive to Roanoke airport in 45 minutes. The house is all on one level, and all doors are at least 30" wide. There are stairs to the lake and floating dock which is shared with another cabin. It’s very relaxing. Being a log cabin on the lake was phenomenal. It really made you feel one with nature. We enjoyed the little things the cabin had to offer from the blankets to the puzzles to the decor was perfect. The kitchen is fully stocked and we weee able to prepare each meal with ease. The cabin is very clean and the host is on point. The rocking chairs and the table and the swing on the porch were used a lot since the weather was so nice . Thank you for such an amazing place to stay. There are neighbors quite close, but as we were towards the end of the season this did not disturb our peaceful retreat. Relaxing on the covered deck with a good book and a cold beverage, eating all our meals outside and a drowning a few worms in an attempt at fishing were just what the doctor ordered. Sadly the weather did not allow us to use the lovely fire pit to roast marshmallows, but there's always next time. Check in and out was a breeze and hosts responded quickly to all messages. The whole place was extremely clean. We pre-made and brought our dinners for the week and it was very easy to just pop them in the oven. We rented a boat for a few days and were able to keep it tied up to the dock which was really nice. The fire pit is beautiful and we enjoyed that, as well as the awesome front porch overlooking the river! ##### Rachel H. Beds are comfortable. A couple of new cabins being built in the same community so there were construction vehicles, workers, and noise. Would stay there again. ##### PENNY M. The owners are great communicators and very friendly. Access to the lake is down some stairs which is good exercise. We highly recommend staying there. We found a lovely winery and the beach. It was well equipped with everything we needed, clean, and comfortable. We loved the kayaks and easy access to the lake and spent a lot of time rocking on the porch enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
