For the high room rate, too bad the rooms don't have a bit more rustic lodge feeling. They really need a bit of sprucing up. Since there is no cell coverage there, the internet connection needs improvement. Very nice dining room and food. Beautiful setting! Very clean, great restaurant and the customer service was outstanding. Such a great gem on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Loved the history of the place,too. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly, there was a shortage of staff, which led to the bar closing.
