For the fisherman, we are located on Witcher Creek where the stripers spawn. The lake is stocked with bass, muskies, northern pike, and other small game fish. Cabin was comfortable for the 3 of us and our pup. It was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy them on the deck. We spent a lot of time at the dock/floating dock relaxing, reading, swimming (yes it was cold!!), and soaking in the sun. We brought our canoe and paddleboard and the quiet no wake cove was perfect for paddling and exploring. A great place to unwind and get away from it all. Two things to note: bring sheets and towels and need to take the trash to the convenience center (about 7 mins away). Neither one affected the quality of our stay. The area was breathtaking! We couldn't have asked for a better spot. It was quiet and the views were amazing. This was our first time at SML and we are so glad we visited. We hope to be back next year with my husband's kids and their spouses for a family vacation.
