4.3/5 Excellent! (32 reviews)
We stayed at the Ritz with our daughters ages 8 and 11 in a Pavilion villa and it was amazing! The room had 2 queen size beds, but was very spacious with a living area, a decking and a private pool with access to a daybed overlooking the lushious gardens, a short stroll from the main pool, kids club and breakfast restaurant. The breakfast had amazing selection and quality. ALL Staff were very polite, frienfly and helpful. Service was second to none. We were very impressed! The resort is big but you can easily walk around it, and if you can't, you can get driven around via golf buggies. The pool area is great, with various levels and depth, great for kids of different age groups. We found there weren't a lot of preteens to play with our kids so maybe more appropriate for younger kids or mix with other hotel (like we did: 5 days at the Ritz and 5 days somewhere else!) But we loved the peaceful atmosphere throughout the facilities. Kids club had the usual activities which kept the kids busy at times (note: waterslide is at the kids club only silupervused for 30mins a day, rest of the time a parent needs to be there. That was a bit of a pain!) Food is well varied and delicious but overpriced which is a constant in any 5 stars resorts in Bali, there is nothing at walking distance of the hotel but you can get a taxi for AUD$ 5 to the Bali Collection, 10mins drive. Overall beautiful resort which offers a lot (family activities such as sushi and mocktail making class are free).
