"Was expecting ( I believe to be a 400 or so old property) Arrived and was quickly and professionally checked in) Room was very clean( old yes) but had everything I needed. Pub bar quite small but pleasant with some locals and friendly bar staff Only ate on first night , acceptable quality. Breakfast was good , served by pleasant lady. Only negative I would point out if anyone has mobility problems,, stairs are quite steep to rooms. If back on area would go back there"

"A very cheerful and helpful welcome which is always appreciated. The Hotel was conveniently beside the A4 and easy to find. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. Dining in the Hungry Horse was OK but not exceptional. The availability of a Snacks/Drinks Vending Machine was also a bonus. Would highly recommend."

"They accommordated us with an early check in at no extra cost, there was parking & a lovely breakfast all included in the price which was very reasonable. The rooms are lovely with water, tea & coffee & biscuits, there's a safe, and hairdryer and the beds are really comfortable. Could not fault it at all, would definitely recommend. I would definitely stay again.. "
