"The staff, Mel and Angelina, are exceptional and offered to prepare some meals when we gave them plenty of notice. We would pay them for their direct expenses and supplemented our tip on the final day to account for their extra efforts. There was always coffee early in the morning, and since our group is fond of fresh fruit, there was always some ready for a snack."

"Staff did not speak English but they were very friendly and helpful. We had no difficulties and enjoyed our stay. The setting is lovely -- right on the beach and across the street from two nice cafes, Quetzal and Cafe Corazon."

"The unit is charming and comfortable with a wonderful balcony. The grounds are very clean and well maintained, as is the pool. Humberto does a great job of looking after the property and was very helpful to us. The palapas are perfect for a great ocean view to watch the whales as they migrate south. Unit is well located and within walking distance to restaurants and tiendas. We love this property. "

"The place was sooo great, but the location on the map showed the property in Troncones, but this sweet place is actually up the road about 7 minutes. The address showed the Mahajua beach, but the map showed the other location with the house and not knowing the area at all, went with the map with the house. It worked out fine and easy travel with bikes or taxi; it was the location that was the only thing that didn’t make sense. Now that we know the area, would love to stay again. It is super quiet and clean, private and beautiful!"

"We had an absolute wonderful time in this paradise. We were back in Troncones after 13 years and it was our first time staying in beautiful Casa Despacito which is perfectly located on the Troncones beach. We really hope to be able to come back another time. Another review had mentioned issues with the appliances which can be an ongoing challenge in the climate and we had some issues so I would recommend the owner to perhaps invest in some new ones. But it did not ruin the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous place. We would be back in a heartbeat. The Property Manager Tina was very responsive as well. "

"We didn’t hear from the host until the day of our check in even though I had reached out 3 days prior to arrival. The property only has AC in the bedrooms, and it makes it very difficult to enjoy your stay when it’s 90degrees outside and inside especially when you are cooking.The listing shows 3 bathrooms and there’s only two, there’s no where to do your laundry. The primary bedroom AC unit leaked and it splashed water on our faces and did not cool enough. "
