We got there early and the room wasn't ready... no big deal but I don't think the cleaning crew was informed we left to give more time for cleaning and left without finishing, and not leaving some important things... toilet paper... had to request that... staff was probably wondering what we were using it for! But anything that we requested to help with our stay they tried to accommodate... would definitely stay again."

"There was a swarm of bugs in front of our room that were unavoidable to get through the door. The lock inside looked like it had been ripped off the door frame a few times. The paint job in the room was rushed and incomplete. It looked like there was a cockroach leg stuck to the wall in the shower. The employee who checked us in wasn't wearing shoes and had a general vibe of uncleanliness. The television wasn't set up in our room. The overall vibe of the hotel was so bad that we checked out a day early and got a room at a different hotel."

"Apparently the property was in the process of being changed over from a Super 8 to a Quality Inn. So there was a lot of construction and updating going on at the time. The breakfast was minimal but fine. The secure wifi was out for our entire visit and the public wifi was out for at least half of the time. While the hotels.com listing said the parking was free, we were charged $3/night fee on arrival. We asked about that on check out and a different employee refunded the fee. However, the employee who had originally charged us saw and was very disgruntled, saying she was told that should never be done, no matter what the website said. The room itself seemed reasonably clean. However we did get some strange bug bites while there (maybe spiders) and we found trash from previous occupants in drawers."
