« This house was without a doubt the most beautifully decorated and outfitted place we have ever stayed at. The towels were more luxurious than ours at home. "Cher General Manager Erick Anderson, L’hôtel 16 Bay View est superbe : une bâtisse rénovée avec goût, au cœur de Camden, proche de la marina. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien équipées, avec une grande salle de bain (baignoire à jets et douche), terrasse et cheminée. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, fait maison, et le personnel est chaleureux et attentionné. Mais pour un hôtel à 350–450 $/nuit, la propreté est le vrai point faible : poussière sous les lits, sur les meubles, et dépôts dans la baignoire à jets dès son utilisation. À ce niveau de prix, la chambre doit être impeccable. Cela montre un manque de contrôle du ménage, et c’est vraiment le point le plus décevant du séjour. Même de petits détails, comme une boîte de mouchoirs quasi vide, traduisent un manque de vérification. Autres points : le ménage quotidien n’est pas automatique, ce qui n’a pas de sens pour un hôtel de ce standing ; le parking facturé 15 $/jour, bien qu’indiqué gratuit sur le site, et une salle de sport à 2 km, non précisée clairement. Le potentiel est énorme, le personnel bienveillant, mais un renforcement du nettoyage, du suivi et de la transparence des services est indispensable pour que 16 Bay View atteigne enfin l’excellence qu’il mérite.
