« Super cozy and comfortable cabin! We had a wonderful time using the fire pit and the self-serve camp store was so convenient. It was just big enough for the two of us and the bed was comfortable! Check in super easy, online and contactless. The grounds are clean, beautiful and tucked away from the actual park. We also enjoyed the included after hours access to the sand dunes, it was so nice to explore in the twilight with no other visitors around. »

« Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! "The hotel was filled with kids for a sporting even held the next days. They spent most of the evening (7 pm to 10pm) running around in hallways without adult supervision. When I addressed the issue with the front desk in person, I was met with the « quiet hours start at 10 » response, and was verbally attacked by one of the adults accompanying some of the children, visibly inebriated, for allegedly scolding the kids (I had only asked them to stop and to tell me where I could find an adult). I basically paid to have a disturbed night with no effort to resolve the matter either at the time of the issue nor the next morning when I checked out. I have reached out to hotel management with no response a week later. "
