"Grasshoppers is right bang centre of the Central station area. Shops and eateries are therefore bang on the doorstep. Don’t expect great views - this is Glasgow city centre - but you will get very comfortable, clean rooms with a convenient breakfast bar. Despite the hotel being adjoining the train station, I found it difficult to find! Perhaps a bigger sign would help."

"A really nice couple of nights at the Sandyford Hotel. I parked 10 mins walk away by the Mosque, in an underground car park. £24 for 36 hours, you pay the Sikf at the entrance with cash. Great location, I walked everywhere from the hotel and felt safe even walking back in the dark. Bus stop right outside with open top tour bus stopping regularly. Easy walk to the lovely Kelvingrove park and museum. Easy walks to theatre and Art Cinema. Clean room, helpful staff. I would highly recommend. "
