Having stayed here before last February, I’ll say the only negative was the fire not being on at night in October as it gave the hotel a homely cosey atmosphere in the evenings. The food in the restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner was 10/10. Staff were very friendly. The bar staff could probably use an extra body in the evenings as it was 1 guy trying to serve the entire lounge and people were sitting with empty glasses for quite some time, us included. Our room Was spacious and comfortable. It had been cleaned to a high standard before we arrived. Have been now, we wouldn’t rule out a third visit in the future.

The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to help. Got an unexpected upgrade to a lovely room with a balcony and beautiful views over Loch Ard. Road to/from Hotel was only downside as it was very narrow at points and meeting oncoming traffic a challenge but Hotel itself was lovely

The location was fantastic we had a balcony looking into the water and we were very lucky to get terrific weather, the hotel room was very modern and spacious and comfortable, room and bathroom was immaculate, the meals were excellent. The only negative thing I could say was we were booked in for B&B & evening meal but at the end of our meal we were given a bill and when we questioned this we were told that they only provide £25 per person for evening meal and anything above that we have to pay our selves, we were not told this when we checked in or when we booked it as it is not on their website, when we questioned this with the receptionist we were told that’s their policy and there is nothing we can do about. Paying wasn’t the problem it was not being told about it.
