Walking into my room was like walking into a different decade, not in a good way. Outlets very far from bed making it difficult to charge phones at night. TV was very small and very far from bed. Had to sit at the desk to watch. No outlets in bathroom.

Three times up and down from 6 floor before key worked Restaurant closed except for breakfast( which was very good). No real hotel lobby. Not terrible but it was my 10th hotel in this journey around Scotland. Highest price. Ranked 10. Oh and if you are a non drinker be careful room is full of alcohol.

I expected the property to be a bit more elegant based on the pictures on Expedia and the reviews. The lobby is small and a bit well worn. Our classic room did not allow us access to the executive lounge. As we were traveling with another couple there was no place to sit with them and enjoy our complimentary happy hour. Both our rooms were a bit small with only 1 chair. The breakfast was very good and the view from the restaurant was fascinating! Front desk very helpful!!
