"Check in was easy. Reception staff was courteous and helpful. The bed was clean and comfortable and the room was spacious. However, the room floors were very dirty. The room smelled like heavy smoke, and a little musty, Especially in the bathroom. There was also an air freshener in the room to cover up the smell but it made it worse. The restaurant looks nice, clean, and presentable, but the food was average and the staff were not very attentive. Overall, not bad for a middle of the road hotel, and has potential to be nice. It just didn’t quite deliver anything over average."

From the moment we arrived, Ken made us feel incredibly welcome by greeting us in person and showing us around the property, which was a lovely touch after a long journey.Throughout our stay, he checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly, striking the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to relax. We especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of having basic groceries stocked for us on arrival.The property itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and ideally located for exploring the area. Bo’Ness is a charming place, and this stay made it even more special.We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay again. "This was our 3rd time staying in Fernwoodlea and it never disappoints. Always clean and warm, we feel at home as soon as we walk in. This is where you'd normally write "but" or "the only downside is", but I genuinely don't have any!If you're wanting a base to see Fife, you will not go far wrong booking here."
