The Pros: This hotel is aesthetically interesting. It's in a walkable location. The breakfast, although kind of slow, was fine. The rooftop pool gets good sun.
The Cons: We had requested a 2pm check-in arriving from BKK following an early morning flight. When we arrived at 2:30 we were told the room wasn't available until 5. They requested a credit card for incidentals, but their cc machine didn't work. We had requested an upper floor with a view and they put us on 2nd floor looking into villas next door. After being in the room for awhile we noticed it wasn't cooling down. We had to call the front desk twice to get a tech, who disassembled the condenser on the balcony and then left. When we called the front desk again they said they could move us to a different room in the morning. RIDICULOUS! They eventually moved us to a 1st floor room with a wall outside the window. By now it was getting late and we were too tired to say anything. The following morning we found the toilet in this room didn't flush. After breakfast we were moved again to a 5th floor room for the rest of our stay. Management needs to make sure everything is functioning before they sell their rooms and be better prepared for when glitches occur. HELLO, who asks guests to go without A/C in Bali at their hotel. The front desk apologized at check-out but the GM never made any effort during our 3 night stay to reach out to check-in after all this. There are better hotels in Bali.
